Internet Of Things

Internet Of Things Using Arduino and Firefox OS
fx.jpg
  • Internet of Things

  • - Maker movement is everywhere today & the Internet of Things is the future. This all has been possible because of the evolution of tiny and simple electronic boards (Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc) have made this possible.     - Another approach to IoT is using Firefox OS mobile phones which has all the sensors embedded with it and an super easy way to interact with them (which no other OS provides). This is possible only because FireOS is written using the web technologies only and the simple JavaScript API makes it very easy to interact with the hardware here.
  • About Mozilla & Firefox OS

  • - Mozilla is working to protect web as the world's largest public resource. We started doing this with help of a powerful browser Firefox but that's not all. Anything the web cannot do faster and better than a native technology, that is a bug in the web. And our recent initiative Firefox OS is helping us to identify those bugs. FxOS is written from the web and the FxOS devices has all the sensors and that too accessible easily through JavaScript.
