"Teaching is one profession that creates all other professions."
India, our great motherland, has been at the forefront of many advancements that have proven contemporary in their respective time periods. Be it the onset of modern civilization from Harappa, the number system as we see it today, the introduction of zero and chess to name a few. But, as time has passed, it seems that the river of outpour of new ideas of amelioration has reached the plains, and is not as turbulent and powerful as it used to be. Many wonder as to whether we would ever be able to give something back to the civilization that could completely change the standard of living around the globe. But, there has been a recent development that has put all speculations to rest, and has been staring at us right in the face for thousands of years, quite ironically. Yes, I am talking about yoga.

Every year on Mother's Day, we have the pleasure of thanking our moms for being wonderful, selfless, sacrificial angels who are there for us in every step of the way.
The first Mother's Day was celebrated in West Virginia in 1912. Mothers are recognized as an important part of our culture and lives. The heart of a mother is a rare jewel. They love their children during the worst and best of times. Yet all mothers are not the same.

APJ Abdul Kalam, better known as the missile man of india, made the whole india shed tears by his sudden demise. From playing an organisational, technical, and political role in India's Pokhran-II nuclear tests to living the civilian life of education, writing and public service, he left an indomitable mark in the welfare of science and technology and in the lives of people.
The folklore says “One should learn from their mistakes”. But how many of us really accept the mistake? We have been brought up in a society where wrongdoings are perceived as ethical errors. What seems miserable for you is not always necessarily a misery for the soul sharing the seat next to you. Yet we ignore the fact that we all live in shades of blue expecting for sparking yellow shines in some form or the other. For some, it is physical reinforcement for a bundle financial upliftment a few emotional wreckage. No wonder we consider emotional wounds as the most excruciating ones but again it all lies in perception...
Since the evolution of human kind, we have always been a class apart, not on the primordial scales of strength, speed or camouflage, but on the scale of wit, wisdom, and most important, in the ability to understand the phenomena around us in both the quantitative and qualitative fashion. TV sitcoms come and go. A few linger on for some time. Others have some memorable dialogues. Some remain popular for their high ratings and horde of trophies while the rest boast of a formidable cast. Among this far-spread out sea of The Big Bang Theories, How I Met Your Mothers and Modern Families, one tiny water droplet shines and stands out. Yes, I am talking about F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I recently had an opportunity (yeah I would like to call it an opportunity) to live without the technology which encloses our life : Smartphones. Just imagine the horror of waking up one day and realizing your smartphone is not functional anymore. It is not working. Damn !! You couldn't even call anyone or text anyone. Rather I would say whatsapp anyone or viber anyone. No facebook , no TOI app. You suddenly feel delirious and detatched from the world. You start questioning the very existence of friendship and fun people have by having virtual convos...
